My daughter just started shooting skeet last year. She never showed any interest in guns til then. We've taken her on dove, goose and a crane hunt this year. This past weekend we went on a guided upland hunt and she just loved it. She liked the other hunts but this was her favorite.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

Good pictures!! I seldom get birds in flight.
Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I was just having a lucky day on pictures. I posted more in the photo section under Upland hunt. I took 4 or 5 in flight pictures. In one pic you can see the red shell in air after being ejected from the shotgun.

It was a hunt guided by DoubleB20 on a preserve 6 miles out of Gainesville.

I have done that hunt with my daughter before too and plan to do it again this year. Very nice. Glad you (and she!) had a good experience.

My little girl is 2.5 years old and she will not be apart from me, Working on the car, working the dog, planting trees in the mud, shes right there with me. Can't wait to take her hunting.
