talked to a guy the other day at the bar and he said garwood has pintails everywhere. Then talked to my buddy on the lease and he said our spot is loaded with pintails. Needless to say I will be going for my sprigs in the mornin. I will find out what kind of numbers have come down in the mornin.

+1 they seem to be congregating along the shoulders of the roads here. I guess its the only place they can access food. Everything else is still covered with snow.

We're located in central texas and we have recieved a huge push of birds in our area. Gadwall are usually our bread and butter and until three days ago I had killed more greenheads than gadwall. The wigeon have been pretty scarce compared to normal. I was in DFW area hunting the past few days and I will be hitting my local spots in the am. Scouting today and we saw more mallards than we ever have and the rain has flooded some new groceries. Looking forward to the last week and a half.

Eric
