Yeah, I'm ready for next year too, but I need the off-season to start getting all the gear that I want!

Welcome aboard. No question is a dumb question (unless you are asking for hunting locations) so dont hesitate to ask if you are curious about anything.

Best advice I can give you is dont accidentaly pee in your waders. Not fun.

Yeah until she sees that you are leaving her every weekend to go duck hunting, then she will go from supportive, to jealous of the ducks.

welcome fellas. i dont know if starting at the end of the season is such a good idea... now you're gonna be feenin' for it and your still a rookie and may not be able to handle the anxiety!!! hammer

warm coat, best waders you can afford, gloves and face mask are key equip.. dekes and calls can always wait as long as your going with guys that have this stuff. good luck with the fits of depression and withdrawls. frown . the forum will help pass the time, a little... juggle

thanks again everyone for the welcome. Luckily we have been going with a good buddy of ours that is well experienced so he has been pointing us in the right direction as of what to get and hunting locations. Look forward to gaining more knowledge and passion for the sport.

Mine is jealous for about the first week and then I annoy her on purpose and then she can't wait to get me out of the house banana

Its all about the planning!

Well done, I've pretty much told mine not to talk until the season is over so that I don't have to hear any complaining. Cooking and cleaning only for her. roflmao
