spot is looking, well, not so good this year. With all this rain we had the road getting to my normal "honeyhole" is under about 10-15 feet of water. This is good and bad though. Good: no pressure this year. Bad: The dudes with 4 wheel drives who can blaze a new trail to get back there will be blasting away. I really liked this area because no archery hunters ever went back there, only during general season was it booked solid. Dayum it, I have got to find another spot out there FAST!!!!

The two foot creek I used to cross to get to my spot is now 20 feet under. I understand.

you ever hunt hogs on Hood...I talked a while back to one of the game wardens...he says they are out there...but they are hard to come by, I dont know...never hunted Hood at all..just curious.

Lots of hogs on the west side of Ft Hood, seen em in the mornings running up the roads...
