Does anyone out there have any review/comments on the Beretta Tikka T3 Lite? Looking specifically at .30-06 in SS. Was hoping to get some feedback from some actual owners.

Can't go wrong with a tikka. Great shooting rifles, you won't be disappointed.

I carry a gun because I'm too young to die, and too old to take a whoopin!

I have the Tikka WT (predecessor to the T3)in 7mm. I love mine. The Fins are good at making guns!

Mine is a tack driver! It is a .22-250!

Beretta is the parent corporation of Sako which owns Tikka!

Have 2 Tikka T3 hunters, both are accurate enough sub MOA guarantee. The T3 has one of the smoothest actions you will find on a production gun today.

Thanks all - I think I had already made up my mind before I asked for input smile

kmon1 - That smooth action is what really got my attention on this rifle -- smooth as a baby's bottom.

I own one rifle that has a smoother action than the Tikka T3, a Mannlicher Schoenauer 1903. If you ever cycled one of those you know what I am saying.

How would you compare the T3 to the Remy 700? I am wanting to get a 300 Win Mag and looking at the Remy 700 SPS or the T3 Lite.

I have a T3 Lite in .308 and love it. Action is smooth as silk and it's very accurate right out of the box.

I have a 270 wsm. It is a great rifle. I don't think the Remi's compare at that price.

My brother is picking his from a gunsmith, although not much than the action is left of the original rifle. Hopefully I get to try it out on my next visit.

I was drooling over his choice of a stock for it...

Not the actual rifle, his will be with Lothar Walther barrel in 6.5x55 and topped with a Zeiss Victory Diavari 3-12x56, if I remember correctly.

Tikka's suck. I just sold my Tikka T3 lite in .308 a few days ago.

Kidding, I love the Tikkas but I just couldn't appreciate the synthetic stock. So I just bought a Tikka T3 Hunter in .308 and it'll be here in a few days!!! Like everyone mentions, the action is very nice. Among my family members, we own so many Sako/Tikkas I'm surprised no one has named a child as such.

Only bad thing about the Tikka though.....replacement magazines are much more expensive than they should be. Luckily the one I bought is coming with a 3rd and 5rd!

Geez, that is a fantastic deal. Forget the .30-06 and SS. Buy that one instead.
