Without a title you are gonna be fighting an uphill battle from the get-go.
Do you have a trailer for it?

No but I know where to find the last person thr title was registered to. Thr more y'all keep talking the lighter my pockets get. Y'all think it'll make a nice flower pot? Yeah you could grow some nice daisy's in that bad boy. Hell make ya a garden in that bad boy. The other thing you need to think about is an aluminum boat will probably get you a little bit shallower than that heavy fiberglass boat will. Just a thought.

I see alot of green going into that project. Any soft spots in the floor? Transom in good shape? Looks like gutter seam at the bottom of the transom and some glass seperation on the starboard side. You may be able to get a good used 50-60hp motor but you will have to rig it, plan on another couple of hundred bucks and several headaches if you have never done it before.

If you want a duck boat, you better get it done now! Trust me, everything is great right now. Pretty soon it will be "our money."

Don't get me wrong she like purses shoes etc just as much as the next gal but she's been wanting to go pig hunting with me for a while. I'm going to trade my 45-70 as we type for a gun that both she and I will use until she claims it's hers.

She will start claiming more and more until you have nothing.

Ross...nice job on that boat!
Secondly, I will avoid hunting out of a boat at almost all costs. It sucks, the birds will see you everytime.

To resaerch the title you have to find the hull id number or the tx number on the side. YOu can go online to tpwd Texas Parks and Wildlife and go to boat-registration and thumb around in that section until you find where you enter either of those numbers and you will have the last known registered owner. It is with his signature on a title and some other paperwork you can get a title. If he does not have the title you can get him to sign an owners afidavit. Other than that your tinkling in the wind. Oh and some will tell you to file for a homemade boat and that will not work. THe game warden will come out and inspect it and when he does you will not convince him you made the boat. SO without it you have a private pond boat or a Southeast Texas flower pot.

Check the transom for sure....... if it feels kind of flexible It will need replacing.....unless you just really want to bury yourself in this thing I would highly encourage you to use it as a bonfire one night if the transom is bad.....
