Have a small group, anywhere from 3-6 guns, depending on the size of the place we could come up with more. All hunters are very management minded. 3 of us guide whitetail hunts on other ranches. This place will NOT be used for that as I work with other ranches. The rougher the place is the better. Looking for something we could possibly lease long term so we can let the deer grow. My dad lives in Dallas which is why i am looking for something closer, he doesnt have time to make the 6 hour drives anymore. Please pm me with any properties or questions you may have for me.
Thanks
Dennis White

I assume you're aware of the Spike Box? Is that a consideration?

The Spike Box is awesome. Hunted there in October. Had a really good time.

Spike Box.. Jim Kelly runs a great operation. It will cost a bit but its worth every penny. I am looking for the area. If you need three more to make a group let me know...

No sir I'm not familiar with much up there to be honest. I have hunted/guided south most of my life, with my dad living in Dallas we are now looking for somewhere closer to there.

No, but I do know of the Spike Box. Do they sale hunts or do they lease it?

It's Mike Kelly. They sell limited hunts, and also lease. I don't know if there are any pastures available for lease yet, they often don't know until April or May.

Made a road trip up there this weekend and really like the land between seymour and benjamin, in the river breaks. Also some land between seymour and crowell, again in the breaks. We have made numerous phone calls but are striking out, not giving up just wanting to find any help!

Call raggedy creek processors in Crowell, they might be of some help, they know a lot of landowners in the area.
