Found this and I am interested in it,
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411538986

They have lots of good prices, but are they a ledgit and honest biz to buy from?? If you have purchased here let us know how it was. Thanks

I have only heard good things about Buds. I would buy from them myself.

I recently bought a rifle from Buds. Couldn't have asked for better or faster service and shipping.

Also, kudos to BillW here on the forum for making the transfer very painless and enjoyable.

I bought a pistol from them and it was extremely easy and smooth.

They processed and shipped the gun to me a lot quicker than they said they would.

I've bought guns from other places online and Buds was the easiest I have dealt with.

+1 I have purchased several rifles and handguns from them. They usually have the best prices you can find.

We have done transfers for them, all worked well. They are a little higher than us though.

Check with Vernon first. Haven't bought any guns, but the mags he sold me beat prices elsewhere. If I lived closer to him and didn't already have a store that gives great deals he'd be the one I'd go to.

I have ordered several firearms from them they have very good prices on some items, others are the same locally. However they are at times tough to get a hold of on the phone.

Ordered from there before and have yet to find anyone local that could beat of even match most of their prices on NEW guns.

I've only bought one rifle from them, but I would not buy another. Don't get me wrong - they did everything they said they would. I just didn't like the way the deal went.

To start, I paid a 3% penalty for paying by credit card. Fair enough. I'm in business too and credit card fees are killer.

However, the gun was "in stock" and they had my credit card, so why does it take them up to 7 days to ship? And they took all seven. So instead of having a nice Christmas present I had an empty box. But they did TELL me upfront that it might take them a long time to ship, so I suppose I shouldn't complain - but I'm gonna anyway.

So the rifle finally arrives to my selected FFL - which is in Yoakum and about 95 miles from the house. Now I picked Yoakum Pawn & Jewery as my FFL (they did a GREAT job by the way) because we have property there and I knew I would be in town on the weekends. But the SHIPPING delay pushed the pickup window to the next weekend and I had to cancel a hunt to pickup the gun before noon. It was either that or wait until after Christmas to pickup the gun.

So I arrive at the shop and we open the package together - and the stock is BADLY damaged. Not Bud's fault at all, as the box itself was 100% perfect. This was a Remington Quality Control error - this puppy should NEVER have made it out of the factory. But - once again - this ain't Bud's fault. So Jerry at Yoakum Pawn calls Bud's on Monday and they send a call tag and we ship the gun back and they get it and then they wait a few days (see LONG shipping delays in previous paragraph) and then they release another "in stock" gun and FINALLY my new gun arrives. A beautiful Remington 700 CDL SF in 7mm Rem Mag! Of course it's now the New Year and the $100 rebate is history...

So they did EVERYTHING they said they would, AND they processed a return, but it took me over 6 weeks to get my gun - so no, I'll just buy the next one from Jerry. Less hassle and he'll even match the price if he can. I'll have to pay sales tax - but I figure it'll be worth it...
