Who makes a good wood or laminate stock? Remington Model Seven. I did find factory seconds in walnut $69.99 but not really looking for a second.

Expensive but some very high quality stuff! All stocks come w/ and aluminum bedding block.

Here's mine:

Really nice but a bit rich for me. I really like the aluminum bedding block though.

I also here a lot of boyd stocks (laminated). Laminated are supposed to be more rigid then regular wood. Which is a good thing IMO.

+1 on laminated stocks, if you get a scratch or gouge it can be fixed really easy

I noticed stockysstocks has some Boyds on clearance. They are bad mouthing them in the ad. Sounds like sour grapes...

It makes me wonder if they had a problem with their stocks or their buisness.

Any thoughts on this? Its the very same stock thats on my wifes. I'm going to be putting it on the stainless rifle I just got. Its says they are seconds for exterior cosmetic reasons but if they are inletted wrong its only a stick as far as im concerned. Hmmm.

I appreciate you fixing it for me. I've put several links on here before but never had a problem until today. Oh well, I'll get my head screwed on straight here in a minute.
