Went to the Rage three blade last year at the end of the season and shot and recovered three does all within about 65 yards of the spot where they were hit. Entrance and exit holes were amazing leaving a huge blood trail which was simple to follow(One dropped in her tracks). Just as advertised, they fly exactly like a field point. The only thing I might add is to be sure that they are securely snapped into place (might be the reason some have said they had pre-mature blade deployment) and to replace the o-ring after each shot. Now I can't wait to use these puppies on something with bone on top of its head this season!

I'm shooting 125 grain Spitfires. Changed over from fixed blades this year. So far, out in the back yard, so good. I'm much more accurate with them.

I have been useing the Spitfire since they came out and now the Spitfire Pro. Have never lost a deer since going to this head and have taken many animals, most of them doe and most of them large does in Kansas. They leave a large exit hole and leave a good blood trail on any properly hit game. I have some slicktricks as well but have not harvested an animal with them yet. I bought them for shooting through a pop up blind screen. Practice with whatever you choose and get proficient with them up to 40 or 50 yards. Then when that 15 to 25 yard shot opportunity comes you can smoke him with all the confidence in the world at that range.

Good Hunting

Do you practice with them as well?
