im going hog hunting this weekend , ive been a couple times to this place, its a ranchers land 5k acres of corn fields and such,we just ride around on the rhino at night, sometimes we do good and get several hogs and sometimes we dont see a single one, is there anything i can do to bait them out ?

yeah we see em sometimes just grazing in the fields and sometimes at the feeders , does any of that stuff you can buy at academy work? we had some nasty wet maze that had been sitting in a drum that worked well but im out and need to make some more

id listen before driving around. the bigger boars seem to make the most calls in my experience. so i'd listen for them then stalk em.
my experience also has taught that hogs have no real pattern. they'll work an area for a while disappear then come back.

If your are already cruising in a Rhino, either hand feed out of it or mount a feeder on it and sling corn in the areas they cross coming and going.
On that much land do it in a bunch of places. then you will know where to start looking. Just have to hope your timing is right.

Ive had good luck with hog wild in the past though when i have used it lately it doesn't seem to do much.

Corn the roads, hang out upwind, and get you some game cams at the feeders so you can find out who, what, when , and where.

I have had success with Hog Wild in both the liquid and powder...but for sure put it out with a game cam so you can somewhat pattern them.

I usually just corn an area that I have seen them in recently. Put about 50lbs down and hang out, but I usually do that the day before I go out to hunt them down.

Get you a bag of corn and bait a spot thats been hit recently and hunt that spot later on during the night or next morning good luck

we ended up getting 3 , we got out there late so we didnt end up putting out any bait, next time id like to, i couldnt believe how many deer we saw it was unreal, and also we saw several coyotes but the owner of the land doesnt like to kill coyotes because he says they will eay all the hogs we shoot
