Right now im shooting a PSE Firestorm lite that i like quite a bit, but its awful slow (around 220 fps at 63#). Also, i think a slight upgrade could improve accuracy also. I've been looking at Diamond, Bowtech and Mathews for a new bow. To be more specific, im looking for something like a used switchback or the equivalent from diamond or bowtech. Anybody have any sugggestions on which bow would be best or happen to have one that they need to get off their hands?

Shoot a few of them and get the one that fits you the best. Elite also makes a good bow. Fast Quiet and affordable. That is going to be the most important thing is which one fits you best. They are all about the same (in speed and smoothness and quietness).

If you are wanting a Diamond I am runnig a special on the Black Ice for $515 bare bow. I also sale the Elite Synergy for $599 bare bow.

Do you happen to carry any bowtech that I could compare the prices on?

If your close to Garland you might go by American Pawn Superstore at Belt Line and I30. I was in there a couple of weeks ago looking around, and they had a Matthews LX ready to go hunting (including 9-10 arrows) for $375-400. I thought it was a hell of a deal, but I could be wrong. I haven't been pricing bows lately, and wouldn't know if that was a good price or not.

Ive been looking around and still havent been able to come to any conclusions really. If you were to recommend 1 bow for 500 or less, ready to hunt, what would it be?

Wes-I saw your store info today through the yellow pages and I am looking for a bow. I have been hunting for 30 years and I want to try my luck at bowhunting. I am looking for a good beginers bow that is around $250.00 with sights, stableizer etc... I found one at Cabela's for that and they offered 4 arrows. Can you help me!!! I live in Keller and could come to your store. Please tell me what you have around my price range.

Thanks.

We had points on the cabelas card, so i saved 250 off the original price, otherwise I would have gone to you for sure.

I have a buddy in NJ that recently got a new Black Ice set up, he LOVES it. He was using a Matthews Switchback. Outdoor Life also gave the Black Ice very high marks in the last issue. I'll be seeing you soon Wes.
