I think that all mld would run into feb but a call to the state biologist that issued your place the tags would know for sure nothing special about 1, except you don't have to worry about doe days.

I have been on an MLD1 for the last 5 yrs, the level 1 doesn't have an extended season and all unused doe permits must be returned, along with all the harvest data for the general deer season. And they don't play; we lost one tag so we thought for two seasons in a row, $250 penalty for the lost tag for the second time. Reason: failure to maintain established MLD program records, permits and harvest data. Later found out a newbie on the lease was taking the permit to hunt land elsewhere. Just curious, why are you stuck at level 1 for 5 years? Is it because of the lost tags or what? Might as well just get LAMPS permits for does and not have all the requirements if you're just gonna stay at level 1.
