I just noticed today after having my string replaced that my dropaway is hitting my riser. I bought this bow during bow season and Had to sight it in to ME from the previous owner. While sighting it in it was shooting high. I ran out of adjustment high. I had the site all the way up, and have the top pin all the way up and it was still shooting a tad high. My top pin is dead on at 26 yards. I thought this was weird. So I shot it thru paper, and it leaves a bullet hole in the paper. Today after having the string replaced I shot it thru paper again and still it has the bullet hole. I dont like the fact that my sight and top pin are maxed out. Has anyone else had this problem? The bow is a Switchback, the rest is a Trophytaker drop away, and the site is a G5 three pin and the dw is set at 63 lbs. ANy help is greatly appreciated.

sounds like your timing between your drop away and your string/buss cable are not in sync after having the strings/cables replaced

I have the same bow but no problems. I agree with 7mag (except when I have drop away timing problems it won't cut a bullet hole) and you might also look to see if their is a tension adjustment on your rest. Or throw it away and go buy a QAD Ultra Rest Pro.

I have had similar probs. Can take a look some time. I live in Rhome. May not be the best "bowsmith" but can figure out some things. Bet the timing or string. Holler at me after Christmas and we can take a look. 940/399-9868

I think the rest hitting the riser and the sight adjsutment are two different issues. Maybe raise the knocking point?

Its your peep sight height!! try rising that it should help draw your bow back get it where when you draw back u dont have to move your head at all when you anchor thats should do it

x2 agreed it is the height of your peep. If u move it then your anchor point will change and will take some getting used to.

raising the nocking point by moving your string loop will take it out of tune. Ive also seen sights not being on the bows correctly and that could be it also
