I have finaly made up my mind that I dont need a black rifle. I realy realy want one. Im just trying to figure out which is the best buy because I dont know alot about them. I realy want one in 22-250 caliber but I dont know if such a thing exists. Any help here would be great.

22-250 is too long for an AR-15. It would require the bigger/heavier AR-10 platform.

The AR-15 platform can be had in some exotic cartridges (223 WSSM for one), but the 223 or the 204R are the most likely candidates if varmints are the goal.

Barrel burner, and it would have mag feeding issues due to its taper, I looked into it about a year ago and quickly turned away

You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer. But do you really need to son?

+1... And would be expensive as heck to shoot in comparision to .223. x3 the cost adds up quick when playing with an AR.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.
