I got several cabelas gift cards for xmas.
I also just received a Cabelas Employee Pricing voucher from cabelas for in-store purchasing.
My question is does Cabelas offer discounts through employee pricing on guns?
If not, what kind of employee pricing is offered?

I bought a shotgun a a xmas gift for my father and used the coupon, i got 10% discount, the guy at the gun counter told me the day before i bought it that it would be 5% but rang as 10% so i took it...i think it offers a better discount on everything else

only about 15 dollars off

I got that coupon too and noticed it does not tell you what the discount is. Just a way to get you in the store I guess...

They took off $50 from $499=10%

The discount is not to great. But, it is money. Do this and you will save a ton. If you have their credit card-find someone in your family who doesn't. They give a large cash back(immediately) on your purchase. It's based on the total purchase. So, we just purchased a LCP for $300 and got $70 back on the purchase. You can't beat it. Make sure they are running the promotion before you sign up.

I picked up a Kimber employee purchase/price list and it was a lot more then 10% off.
They literally grabbed it from my hands when they walked up and saw what I was looking at. It was a few hundred dollars off on some models. The guy at the counter said that they could only purchase one a year....

It's not always 10%. The % varies on the item and amount spent. I got 8% off on a shotgun last year when they did it and 20% off some other items.

Figure out what you want, call them up and ask what the employee price is.

I got $120 off my last purchase, which allowed me to make the purchase.
