I am looking to get a budget minded auto shotgun that will shoot 3 1/2. Other than finding a good deal on a used B gun I have narrowed it down to either the Mossberg 935 or the Win Super X2. From what I read the 935 will not shoot 2 3/4 while the X2 will. The Mossberg would be cheaper (maybe by $200) but I am willing to pay the extra if there is a big difference in quality. Any advice on which way to go? Thanks in advance.

I have a 935 and it will shoot Federal 2 3/4 with no issues. If you are interested in it let me know, I would probably sell it. Not that it is a bad gun, just that I do not use it much. Has about a case of shells through it...

X2 hands down. It's pretty much a rebranded Browning Gold, which is a great gun that I own and love.

I agree...no comparison between those two gun. One thing I have learned is on auto shotguns up to about 800 dollars you get one you pay for. After that it is names and gimmicky things that make the difference in them.
SX2 along with the 3901 are under priced and best valued guns out there right now.

You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer.

Thanks for the feedback everyone looks like there are a lot of Winchester X2 fans out there. I have always been happy with my Model 70 rifles so it is a brand that I trust. Cabela's has the X2 3 1/2 model in a Dura-Touch finish for $750 plus I could get potential get a lower price with the Employee Pricing coupon they sent me. I looked at prices a little bit on Gunbroker... what do you guys think of $750?
Thanks!

http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u..._12#Post1921416That is the best deal going right now, that I have seen on a X2. I personally would buy a used X3 before I paid 750 for a X2...that is just me and buying used guns doesn't bother me, some guys want brand new and I can understand that. Good luck.
