Anybody know of any good spots to upland hunt near San Antonio? My dad is coming to town for a few days.

Just north of San Antonio, nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, visitors will find 1200 acres of the finest wingshooting they'll ever experience. Specializing in European-style driven pheasant shoots and walk-up hunts for a variety of upland gamebirds -- chukar, Hungarian partridge, pheasant, and quail -- Joshua Creek Ranch is serious about providing a hunting experience for its guests and members that will long be remembered as an exceptional adventure.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

Huntting a Joshua Creek starts at about $375 a gun per day. I've heard it's a top notch outfit.
