Any one having problem with the deer not coming to the feeders? I see more deer on the way back to camp than I have seen at the feeder

It's all over the state now, not just Comanche....they are in a cycle that doesn't bring them to feeders. I hunt that area too, but everyone has the same question!

Starting to get frustrating, glad to know its not just our place, everyone seems to blame it on the acorns but im not buying it. Ive watched some of the same deer for weeks, and now they are no where to be found. The hogs and turkey cant even keep the corn cleaned up under the feeders

Talked to my uncle, Jim at farley farm supply, and he says it's been the worst year in years. The odd part is last year seemed to be one of the best, with not a lot of deer shot.

Dozer, mulched, and trackhoe work. Fencelines, senderos, tanks. Let me know if I can help with any dirtwork or construction.

Suppose to take my 5 yr old this Thursday. With the moon, I'm really having second thoughts. Any opinions?

got three good hunts in this weekend and saw several doe and a young 6 point. They are hitting our main food plot pretty heavy and coming to the feeders again(and the moon was full and up most the night). Im going down on Christmas and not coming back till the new year, Maybe the year will end on a good note. Also isnt there usualy a late season rut?

we're heading out thursday, too. it was worth the trip last weekend despite a full moon. but since the front is moving in on thursday/friday, that's when you'll see the most movement. when it got cold last week, that's when the daytime movement started kicking in.

I hunt NE of Proctor...... I'd give anything to see a deer on the lease! So far,I have seen 1 4pt and 1 8pt that didn't make the AR and 3 does! I have basically quit deer hunting and started duck hunting.
If anyone knows of a lease in the area, let me know. Looking for something year around for 6-7 hunters
