Anyone own a weatherby sa-08 shotgun? Comments/reviews would be much appreciated.

It is made by in Turkey, by Armsan and imported by Weatherby as the SA-08, and by Tristar as the Viper G2. I have one and it shoots great! Very reliable, soft shooting, and patterns very well. The wood is outstanding, as is the metal polishing and fitting of parts. They also take Benelli/Beretta choke tubes.

Anyone own a weatherby sa-08 shotgun? Comments/reviews would be much appreciated. A friend of mine in LA shoots one and likes it. However, for the money, I'd got get a Berrett 3901 from Cabela's or a Benelli M2 American.

Beretta 390. Just picked up my 5th 390 for $465. Easy to clean and never fails to go bang.
I go to Bone Daddy's for the burgers....yeah, that's why.

I got the synthetic in 20ga this summer. I shot a couple of rounds of sporting clays with it before the season and hunted doves with it exclusively this year. Probably 350-400 rounds total. Never had one problem with it. It's a great gun for the money. The only change I have made was to add a fiber optic bead. My only complaint is that they did not included any stock shims with the gun.
It doesn't match my Beretta 391 in build quality, but it's not $1000+ either.

Didn't know about the chokes.....that's awesome. I bought the sa-08 water fowler edition. I love it! It came with a full, improved, and mod. Great buy! Great gun!

Well I've hunted twice with the waterfoweler edition. It shoots great. Very pleased so far. I'd like to have the fiber optic bead too but it's still a great deal for the price.
