My little brother shot a red stag last year. Not sure who lost the cape but its gone. I know i say the guide cape the deer right and put it in the cooler. A local taxadermist that the outfitter suggested picked it up. He called me and said that the cape was missing and he is looking for a new one. this has been going on for some time and still he cant seem to find a cape. So i figure i would see what i could do.

do any of yall have a red stag cape i could get? If not do you think a Hind cape would work?

This is my Brothers (11yoa) first deer of any kind and he really wants his mount. I cant dsay i blame him. The outfitter said he has can let me shot a cull for 500. i feel he could do better. i have huntied here several times and have refured several hunters to him.

Search on all the high fence ranches that sell red stag hunts in texas, and send an email to the owner/manager about your dilema. Somebody should have a hunter that takes a stag and only wants a euro done.

I've got some contacts in Australia that migth be able to help. Just don't know if its a big deal or high cost to bring one in from there. They have a large red stag population, so I'll ask around.

how big of a cape do u need is just a shoulder mount or what let knw might be able to help
