We, a group of firefighters, are looking for an instructor to give a group CHL class for about 10 of us. We all live in the D/FW metro. Please let me know where, when & how much for you to instruct a class for us. Also, what all will the class include (packet, pictures, fingerprints, etc.) Looking to do it in the next month. Thanks.

Pat Patterson licensed instructor in Midlothian did a group for us. Tues and Thur nites and shoot on Sunday $120.00, less for bigger groups, all included, payment due after you shoot, you pay CHL Lic application fee. Great guy ex-military. Maybe too far for you. If interested PM me and I'll give you his number.

You may want to look at Trident Response Group, these guys are all former Special Operations ( SEAL's, Marine Special Operations Snipers, Federal Agents, LEO, etc.) They do several kinds of classes and you can even go through their indoor Fight Lab (Shoot house) included in the price or I think they will come to you.

www.trg-ltd.com
214-341-268three or call Ryan @ 619-302-401zero ( he is the lead instructor.

They also do other kinds of training:
Basic shooting
Advanced shooting
Basic longrange shooting
Advanced longrange shooting ( out to 1000yds)
high speed driving
Survival training
Basic medicine
advanced combat medicine
basic climbing
advanced climbing
etc, etc, etc

and they have about 10 others that they do as well, these guys are great guys who have a very special skill set.

I have a friend of mine that teaches the class in the Houston area, but is willing to travel up north to teach the class. He was telling me that he already has some others up there trying to get a class together also. So maybe he could do y'alls and then theirs or vice versa. Check out www.goheeled.com

This is who I used and he will do private classes with 5 or more. His class was real easy, and laid back.
http://www.chltx.com/

From his own page:
Includes Prints, Photos, Notary, DPS Packet, TEXAS CHL Law Book
INCLUDES EVERYTHING TEXAS CHL DPS REQUIRES TO CERTIFY YOU FOR CHL

His class including everything minus range fee was $99. If you do 10 or more I believe he will knock it down some.

Since he is close to home I think I am going to get a group over to him. Do you know him personally, or have used him before? Thoughts/Input?

My dad and I went there it was a good class. Had your typical retards that dont know anything but the class was informative and thorough. And yeah it is close for ya. We met in Royse City at the hotel there and when we went to shoot he had a small pistol range about 5 miles outta town and we all just convoyed over there.
