A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear

You can try and gas it out, just like they do with snakes under a house.

i say feed him could be the new pet. its nice to see different wildlife around the house dont ya think. if it was by a feeder or something i am all down for shootin it. but maybe it will go some good keep snakes away or something. there have been a good number of big does an a couple nice bucks that would stick around the huntin house but everybody new not to shoot them. they would come right to the patio with us on it just to eat. they were like our pets we saw them all year round My fiancee went to a TPWD training class with a man who had a pet bob cat as a teen. He used to feed it dead broiler chickens. He said it was all cool untill time to eat. He had to lock the cat and the chicken in the shower in order to contain the carnage. Lost his pet in a house fire.

I have seen bobcats in the field behind my house for years and even on my fence some mornings. The bobcat was seen coming out from under my backyard porch earlier this week. I do have a female cat that has been spraying the back fence. Is the Bob looking for a meal or sex? Next question, should I trap it or shoot it? well did you ever get it to leave?

I see it out in the field behind the house but it has not been seen back under the porch. I'll have time to set up for it with the holidays coming up. Neighbor down the street lost his dog last week. I suspect the yotes that run the field took him. He lets his dog run free....mistake. I appreciate all the advice. My present to myself will be a 30.06 which should dispatch the Bob if he comes back under the porch.

Live trap. Back when I was in high school I showed Turkeys and pigs in FFA. We started having probles with bobcats getting our turkeys so we set up a live trap and caught 2 and relocated them.
