I hunt the montalba area last weekend the deer were moving real good mid day not much in the early mornings or late afternoon. We saw a big buck still chasing a doe. Sunday from 9:00 am untill 12:00 we saw 16 deer mostly does but two small bucks. We dont have any acorns so the deer are coming to feeders pretty good

I hunt in in the Montalba area as well, and we were seeing the same 5-6 bucks. A nice legal 8, a narrow 6, a spike, and 2 yearling 6’s... Does were NO WHERE to be found where I was...

Thanksgiving weekend, that spike was dumb enough to cross my path and I put the hammer down on him.

GOOD LUCK
