Is it possible to do. I think mine is too long, can I reduce it? I'm sure this has been asked before but couldnt find the topic.
How do I determine my correct draw length?
Thanks for any help.

I think you have to get new cams but not for sure. Maybe you could have the string twisted to take a little out. I would go to a bow shop ask them.

Different Cams, any reputable Mathews dealer will have the cams you need in stock and will swap for 50-100

How much too long is it? If you're talkin about one inch too long then you might just shorten your release.
Typically you do have to switch the cam though.

As for determining your draw lenth. Find a good comfortable anchor position without holding the bow. I personally like the back of my hand to press against the back of my jaw.
Then pick up your bow and draw it back and see how much you need to take out.
If shortening your release is an option I'd go that route. You won't loose any speed that way and you'll be just as comfortable as changing cams.

Sorry guys probably a dumb question.....according to this first picture the bow is 70lb and 27" draw. Right? All this talk of changing cams got me looking at it and I saw this. I got it used and am wondering if the previouse owner had it changed to 29.5". Or does that number mean something else?

nope, looks like someone changed cams on you. try archerytalk.com, you may be able to find a cam that will fit you on there.

Slot of times what will happen is people will cone in with a bow that needs a different draw so they will swap it out with one of those cams. Always look at the cam cause it will let you know what the draw is never just assume that the limb is right. Still any dealer should be able to hook you up if not send me a pm an I might can find you one at our shop

I have seen a few on ebay but you will still need someone to install it. They go from $40 - $50 on there.
