On a normal day I would have to say ducks. I pretty much only hunt dove, turkey, and whitetail with a hog thrown in there every now and then.

But if I was hungry or was hunting to truly provide food for my family, everything would be in danger.

Nowdays it's those flying livers, I mean doves.

I used to look forward to hunting them years ago just lost my desire with the crazy cost of a liver lease.

Just seems when it was free or didn't cost but $5.00 a day to hunt them they tasted so much better!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

I won't hunt split tail skirts anymore. I leave that kind of dangerous game alone these days.

Would be easier to list what I would hunt.
1. Deer Whitetail or Mule (with out fawn)
2. Antelope
3. Hog
4. Black Bear
5. Yote
6. Bobcat
7. Elk
8. Moose

Penguins, not sure about that one, depends on if it picked up the dinner tab or not....LOL

No desire to hunt anything outside of North America.

Can't think of much I wouldn't hunt, Janie. Tame stuff is out, but if it's wild, it's fair game.

I am with y'all on that one, turned down several invites in the past. Just don't see it happening.

Me three....I've never ate duck that didn't taste like mud water. I'd much rather eat quail or turkey.

Agreed

I have no interest in shooting any predators, especially cats. Unless there is a population explosion or some other need to control their population.

Goats Just don't see the point.

African Game, the only exception is the 3 Pig Species and Cape Buffalo. Everything else is no-go for me.

Moose and Blackbear. Grizzly and Polar Bears are fair game.

On my 'not worth it' list are: fawn, doe with fawn still nursing, squirrel (used to, but not anymore), rabbit, possum, ducks sitting on the water or any bird roosting.

Do not care to hunt for an elk, bear, turkey, ducks or geese. Most everything else I might consider over time.

I agree with you 100%. I don't kill anything that isn't bothering me or our animals. I would rather watch a bobcat or red bounce around the pasture than kill one any day. We still have a good many goats, but we raised a 130% kid crop last year so I don't think we have a predator problem.
