My BIL bought a new 770, took it to the range shot it in and was pleased until the last shot when the bolt handle came off. He returned the gun to the shop where he bought the gun and it has been sent back to Remington. They said expect a 4 to 5 week turnaround, according to Remington.

If all you want to hear is Remington bashing you should have said so. While your problem with the rifle is legit you seem to think that everyone who has used a Remington product should join you in your new found hatred. The "fact" is thsire lower end stuff isnt the same quality as their more pricey items, their have been quality contol issues in recent years, and your rifle is one of them. Are you going to press Remington on the issue or just continue tf drum up support for the Remington bashing ? roflmao

I think all brands have their issues and there is just more publicity right now on Remington cause that's the thing to do.

I love my model 700's. Have never had a single problem with any of them, and they all shoot well. Sorry for the current batch of problems.

Stood you up ? I remember you saying you wanted to come by on Monday and I wasnt able to get back to you via PM. I do remember in our PMs telling you Mondays and Fridays arent a great time for me. If you had a problem you should have adressed it in a PM. I now see why your tone towards my posts seem to be negative. Anyone that knows me knows if there is a problem I will bend over backwards to make it right.

If you still want to get a trigger job I will do it for free just send me a PM. Again, Mondays and Fridays arent good for me.
