going mule deer hunting at matador w.m.a. anybody got any tips on hunting that area? rut i guess is long over.are they moving more at night? just try to get opitons

Hunted just north of there ,on the pease river! We would hit the high spots,do a lot of glassing.spot and stalk from that point, watch your wind!

Mule Deer rut is just starting.. but the season is over as of Dec 6th. Shooting one now would be a big mistake!!!!

yeah its a state hunt on wma so season is still on..this is going to be fun hunted wt for 35 yrs first time for muley with a gun. bow hunted before but no luck
