Pretty good hunting lots of deer and tons of turkey. My buddie has a lease in Olney and he has really enjoyed it. They kill 150"+ deer every year out there.

I hunt just a few miles west of Olney. This is my first year on this lease. I am seeing a good bit of deer. I have not seen a shooter yet. I have hunted around the area for a few years and really like it.

Not trying to hijack this thread but find it interesting. In the 70's my dad had a quail lease about 6 or 8 miles north of Olney (past Lake Olney). We covered a lot of ground out there and shot a lot of quail for about five years. Never saw a deer, turkey or pig.
I guess 30+ years is a long time but it is interesting how things have changed and the wildlife have spread out.

I've got family that hunt there. Looks really good to me. Lots of pigs and a good many deer. They have some really big bucks on their cameras and have already killed a few nice ones.

The area can be good. We had a real bad experience on the lease we were on out there a few years back mainly due to the lease brokers who ran the place.
Our place had been severely mismanaged and was horrible (for deer), but could have been excellent with proper management over a few years time frame. It did have TONS of turkey though....so many you'd get sick of seeing them.

chargercody don't lie about our lease, we haven't seen a deer all year and our cameras quit working!
