I am thinking of replacing the stock on a marlin "levermatic". model 56, in 22lr. Does anybody know of a company that makes a replacement for this rifle. The original wood is in good condition, but I would like to have something that I do not mind if it gets scratched, etc. Wood or fiberglass, although with a lever, I think wood would look better. Thanks in advance.

Try Rob at www.gunville.com. He had one for my Remington 580, which has been out of production for over 20 years.

Added: Website seems to be down, but he can be reached at 336-425-3888 or e-mail at dsilverhillhol@triad.rr.com
