I just had my mom call the sheriff's office and they said to dispose of however we see fit if they have no collars and continue to be a nuisance.

Like posted earlier, handle the problem and forget it ever happened!

We don't want to know about it, and you don't want anyone to know either!

Good luck!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

If they are on your land or lease without owner knowing they can legaly be shoot. If you poison them in any means you better keep it hush hush or your can be prossecuted. FYI

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

i had a lease in eastland that we had tons of strays. The land owner was telling me that in the recent years of the economy people have been dumping there dogs out there bc they couldnt afford em anymore. I trapped a few and took em to spca. The landowner wanted me to shoot em but i didnt have the heart.

What pound are you talking about?

That's some Michael Vick style of dog control and he spent some time in the pen for it. It's definately not legal and you should report them. Using pipes and bats to put dogs down is freakin brutal and the people doing it obviously have some issues. If my dog accidently got out and got picked up by those people, then was beatin to death with a bat or pipe... I won't finish that sentence.

I have, also, seen these dogs on the Jackson Co. line. I have had thoughts about putting them down myself. Usually, i just use a pellet gun to get them away. I believe the ones you are referring to are pit bulls. In my eyes, all pit bulls should be put down.
