Specifically the "QUICKSIT TWO-MAN LOW-PROFILE BLIND CHAIR" from Academy.
Thinking about taking one out for me and a buddy to a spot along a creek where the pigs cross regularly. There's not a blind set up there, so I thought it would help give us some cover. Thoughts? Can 2 guys actually fit in these things? How "low" are they?

I have a one man chair blind and have used it in some situations and when I need to be mobile. It's not my favorite blind to use. You move an inch and the whole thing shakes. Like tents, a one man tent is a coffin, and a two man tent is really a one man tent. I would rather have two chair blinds than a single two man chair blind myself. I will see if I can dig up a picture.

Ok, note the background. They do stand out. But for Turkeys and Hogs it really does not matter. And it's a tight fit, but I manage with the dog.

I recently picked up a one-man version so that I would have something that I could use in the rain on a tract where I only have ladder stands. As someone already pointed out, they provide little room. However, I don't want something that's more likely to stand out.
The biggest issue as I see it is being able to get off a shot. I've only used it once, and not sure how easy it might be to get a shot off to either side. I'm sure it would be easier with a shotgun. But not having a steady rest would make it more difficult with a rifle. Just image trying to make a side shot from a folding chair sitting inside a tight box and you get the idea.

Seriously, take 15 minutes and a handsaw and set up a brush blind. They work fantastic.

I wouldn't go through the trouble or expense.
But then I just use a boat throw-cushion (if I remember to grab it), shooting sticks and sit next to a tree, 99.9% of the time.

Vicki had good luck with ours last week. Deer, hogs and cranes were oblivious to it...
It does shake with each breath almost... sound and movement discipline is a must.
I hunted it one time, with does getting within 20 yards of it.

Grab some camo burlap and some zip ties. Find a spot between some trees and set up. That way you can make it as tall as you want and as big as you want.
Don't forget the wind, too.

Just like several above... I carry a cheap walmart chair in a bag with a strap for carrying, some camo netting, zip ties and a small tree saw. Quick and adequate blind anywhere you want.
