they are like a tease..... Went out today and this evening had a decent 9 that any other time, i probably wouldve shot.... but i had to get back to austin to do homework and stuff like that, so i decided not to pull the trigger... well, maybe he will show up next week for me or the miss lady...

anyone else pass on bucks on sunday evenings for one reason or another??? i still like the hunt, just know its takes a BIG deer to get me to pull the trigger on a sunday evening, so i rarely get the reward.

35"!!!! Wow would like to see that one.

Had more than a few hogs and deer get a pass on a late Sunday hunt.

I've gotten to where I just don't hunt Sunday evenings unless I know I can be out of the office the next day if I have too. I typically won't pull the trigger on any evening hunt, but definitely not Sunday.

Fortunately, the deer at my place tend to just show themselves in the morning and I don't get very tempted by evening hunts.

Atleast yall can hunt on Sunday. It's illegal here in North Carolina unless it is your own property and you can only use a bow.

The last deer I killed I shot on a Sunday afternoon. Usually I leave at noon or so, but had put some corn out and was seeing deer, so I decided to stay. He walked out at 3:15 eating corn I had put out just before the hunt. I only have an 1.5 hour drive, so it's not big deal for me. Now my wife on the other hand...

I rarely get to hunt Sunday evenings anymore...wife has to work, so we leave around lunch and get back to SA around 7-10, drink a cpl beers to unwind and go to bed. But for the record, last time I went in by myself to hunt and left the wife in SA, she needed me back by 3pm to use my truck to help a friend move...so I gave myself an 8oclock cut-off on pulling the trigger..... ended up pulling the trigger at 8:02 and didn't get back until 7 or so....women, I swear they get ticked at the smallest things.
