Had a customer coming in for the past three years building a restaurant and always invited me to come down and try it out. Wife and I finally did and it was an amazing place. Nuevo Leon Restaurant 1544 Ellis Ave. (few blocks from the Stockyards) Corner of NW20th between Ellis avenue and main. Probably one of the best margaritas i have ever had and cheap. $3 for a margarita (from 3-7). Huge bar with pretty much any type of liquor you want. Had the Arrachera and it was amazing. Very good food and worth the drive. Like it a lot better than Joe T's, or El Rancho Grande which are close by. Plus they have cabrito which is one of my favorites. Check it out. www.nuevoleoncabrito.comClosed on Monday's. Open till 10 Tuesday-Sunday

I'll have to check that out.
My favorite mexican food in Fort Worth is La Playa Maya on Hemphill (better than the other locations). Hard to beat the Cowboy Enchiladas.
Though it's pretty trendy which isn't usually my thing, I've become addicted to the chorizo tacos at Yucatan Taco Stand.

Try Paco and Johns, corner of 8th & Rosedale over by the Hospitals. It's a tiny little joint with amazing food.
