I hunt in Cuthand and have for 8 years. Great place to hunt but the big bucks are elusive and rare (haven't shot a buck in 3 years). Thanksgiving weekend you can shoot a doe though.

Saw lots of pig sign. Gonna hunt Thanksgiving. The land looks promising and seems to be a lot of big woods around it. Dry creek with hardwoods running through it. Close to home so we wnet ahead and got it for the rest of the year. If nothing else it's closer than our main lease and apparently has a lot of pigs.

Big Daddy not hunting Cuthand but have hunted this area many years. Red River County has big woods and is consider a spot for larger bucks. Unfortunately pigs are in abudance. County has been under AR for appx 5 years now. You could stumble across a good buck. Black Bear is coming back into the county so make sure your looking at a black pig, I couldn't image the cost of a boar black bear fine!!! You should have fun.
