If you're gonna get the mud grappler then you might as well get a swamper...they wear like crap on the street and most people don't get but maybe 20k miles out of them. They do look awesome though... 36k on my grapplers and still got some meat left with even wear, psi and rotations is the key with these soft tires

But seriously, I've only had friends with them on heavier trucks, 3/4 ton or bigger. I'm sure they wear nice on the lighter trucks, but it just seems like that rubber is too soft to get much out of them.

I think it depends on your driving habits and style as to how far your tires go. I tend to be a bit aggressive. I could probably get a few thousand more out of mine if I back off the throttle. Especially on slimy boat ramps.

Update. Ended up buying a set of Hankook RT03 Mud Terrains. Shop in the area recommended them. Has used them on a lot of trucks on ranches around there with good success. After one weekend, I really like them, but we'll see how they hold up over time. I really like the way that they look.

Goodyear Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar. Buddy had them in AZ with the sharp sandstone, cactus and other things tires don't like. The are the best!
