I am looking to buy my 6 year old daughter her first bow. Any suggestions? Is there a good way to figure what amount of pull to get? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Good luck this weekend to all of us fortunate enough to hunt!

I started mine on a genesis at around 6, and then moved her to a browning micro midas with adjustable draw weight, and length, and currently have her shooting a diamond with adjustable length and weight, and she is 14, and been driving tacs since she was 9. She harvested her first doe last season. Still have the genesis if someone would like to purchase it for cheap.

After eating Payne's sausage I don't know if I can go back to the regular store bought stuff.

I just got a Diamond Nuclear Ice for my daughter per Ken's suggestion at Cinnamon Creek. I took her up there to test shoot some, and that is the one she liked best. I'll probably be swapping it out in a couple of years once she's ready to pull some more weight back for an intermediate bow.

The problem with some, was that the bow itself was too heavy for her to hold up once she got it drawn.
