I have been up to my lease the past 2 weekends and noticed younger bucks chasing but nothing real mature. What is everyone else seeing? Where in the rut are we?

Man, I have hunted every week since bow season opened. It has been a real bummer so far. Seen a few young bucks chasing as well, but overall brutal. The acorns are killing us, have actualy been shutout a handful of times. 5 days starting Friday, the weather should help.

A bit of rain east of Graham. Don't know if any rain fell in Newcastle. No deer moving this morning in our lease frown

Went from windy to cold an cooler with wind, Tanks open, creek froze some what, Ducks hit the deep walled tanks heavy, Ate cold turkey @ dressing, Kids arrived Am slow, none to ratttling, Some deer travelin in middle of day, Got better saturday an couple small ones responded close in, Bounced 270 off cap on hogs skull for complete back flip then, Then watched amazed as he ran 100 yards thru brush, Scalped, with 2 ft red mohawk down his back, Never seen anything like that, at 75 yards and from 18 ft tower flat to skull and down back, And survived it, 270 shoots clear elk, an bears, deer has no chance from one, And hog skull turned it, amazing. Today all feeders were hit mixes crew,
