This is a great video demonstrating various Quail soundings, their significance, and how to apply them to hunting and management strategies. Having grown up listening to Gentleman Bob on the Llano Estacado, I was familiar with these sounds from a very young age, as many of you THFers are as well. Folks that are new to quail hunting can become familiar with various calls and their meanings. Seasoned quail hunters that wish to engage in the challenges of hunting without dogs can also benefit from the meanings of different quail sounds and utilization in reading hunting situations.
Enjoy!
