I have read where deer do not move much in high winds (15-25). Where i am going hunting in oklahoma it is prone to high winds all the time. Question is with this weekend scheduled to be pretty windy both days, would you think they still be moving?

here and there maybe. I know at my place in the hill country, they lay down pretty fast when the wind picks up. If I remember correctly, they usually lay looking downwind since they can smell anything coming upwind.

From my understanding, if a place is prone to being windy, the deer adjust and will move in higher winds.

You definetly can't shoot a deer if you are not in the field. Just go and enjoy the hunt and time out there.

I lived in Enid for 12 years, (Northern Ok) the deer up there are used to seeing log chains flying in the wind, they are used to it.....
