Glad to see East Texas hunters on the forum. I'm going to be moving back there this Tuesday. My friend's dad has a deer lease but works almost 21 days a month straight with one week off. So I'm gonna be sitting around a lot I imagine. Don't want to miss the rut, figure it's probably my best chance to bag a deer.

I own a place in Wood County and saw a real nice 10 pointer last weekend chasing a doe. Also saw 7-8 other smaller bucks with a few running does. Sure wish I was in the blind this weekend. Couldn;t break away. Oh well... There is always next weekend! www.buckandbassranch.com
