I need someone to settle a bet, is it legal to use a deer decoy in Texas? I say yes and my boss said no, I cant find the answer in the TPWD booklet or online, anything will help, thanks.

Depends. The boss is always right. If the "boss" is your wife, then "yes dear" will suffice. Seriously though, I've never heard of any state outlawing decoys.

Im confused are you guys saying it is ILLEGAL to use one??? I would have to disagree...It is absolutely legal to use a deer decoy in Texas.

TPWD uses one all the time to catch poachers.
