Certainly a great price, the only draw back is being able to field dress a deer there. I would have to drive over an hour and a half there.

Accommodations can be made where you can dress out the deer at one of our houses that is only 15 min away. The reason for not allowing field dressing is to keep the predators from coming in more than normal from the smell of dead animals. Currently over the last 2 to 3 years we have not had any coyotes around. We want to keep it that way if possible.

We are not an archery hunter, but if you are a bow hunter currently all archery dates are open, just tell me when you like to go. Both morning and evening hunts are showing promise with the morning showing more movement. We are not really set up for archery yet, but if you would like we will take you out. The land is 275 acres joining the Army Corp of Engineers located off of 190 HWY and 2410 FM, which is another 550 acres or more. We have three feeder running and 4 stands. Two of the stands will fit two people. First stand is a ground blind with 43 yards to 113 yards shots. The second stand is about 6 feed up in the air box stand 144 yards to 235 yards a shot. The last two stands are just one person stands. First is the tree stand, it is a 68 yard shoot. Second is a box stand deep in the woods with lanes ranging from 20, 78, and 37 yards (Right Side) and 40, 45, 37 yard shots (Left side). For rifle, all weekends, thanksgiving, and the day after have been booked. Current open dates for rifle are Mondays through Fridays. Some weekends will come open as the people shoot there limit. Any weekend that becomes available will be posted to the forums and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We will give you more details at the time for booking. We also have game cams out and more pic will be posted soon.

Just a quick update on prices. After reviewing the original post and unable to edit. I wanted to be sure and clear on anything 8 points and above. Our goal with the low prices for hunting is to clean up the trash that is running on the land. We are working to make the herd stronger and with larger number of mature bucks. If the 8 point buck is a cull type buck ( messed up horns ) $150 If it is a true large 8 and you wish to shoot that mature buck the price will be $500. We prefer our older ( true )bucks be left to walk. If you have any questions about the pricing we will answer them when you are at the lease. We have pictures of what we consider to be our mature bucks. And I am sure when you see them you will know. They are really nice 8's that will be great one year.. just not this year.

Hi, Looks like next year your going to have a couple of wallhangers from those trailcam photos, the one in velvet looks like a different buck then the one with hard horns. pretty nice, maybe next year.
