 Hog hunting ( Son's First Hog )

I just bought my son a .223 to hunt with this year. I get him ready to hunt with it. He fired the gun 20 time and hit target every time. I said since you are shooting very well I'll let you hunt a hog this afternoon. As we were in the stand A few hogs came out and he readied himself for the shot. I told him don't shoot there comes a bigger one. The bigger one steps out and gives him a shot and he drops her in her tracks. Proud day of hunting in my book. Son's first hog and I was in the stand with him

That picture is worth a lot to you and him both. Be sure to print it off so he can hang on to it. 30 years from now he can look at it and bring back the old days. Glad he got his hog and you got the memory of it all. Congratulations to you both.

Thanks guys. He is still pumped about shooting his first hog.
dowen if I had a daughter I would be trying to get her to hunt as well. Good luck hope you can get her to go.
