I had nothing better to do so I climbed up in my stand around 2pm. It's really breezy and I haven't seen anything except crows. I've always heard that when it's windy deer aren't moving as much as when it's still.

Not hunting but my son and I are leaving tonight so we can start hunting in the morning.

I wish I couldve gone this morning but I was stuck at church until 8:30 last night and have to drive two hours to get here.

In my stand now in Jacksboro. Wind is a whipping. Just had 9 pigs walk by. Not here for the bacon yet. Waiting for High Head Harry to walk out. With my luck, I should have shot a pig.

I saw an eight point last Sunday morning but he was too far away so I keep hoping he comes and says hi sometime this weekend. Last week I kept having a small four point visit my feeder. He'll probably show up this evening sometime since I've seen him the last three times I've been hunting. Maybe then I'll have something to entertain me. I'm hunting outside of Bryan.

Idk yet, depends on when the wife gets home. Got to have someone to watch our little girl. Hunted this am but didn't see anything. We had some hard rain for an hour or so earlier so it might be good.

Clear as a bell here. Just the wind beating me up. Need a couple arctic blasts to get rid of all these acorns and get them coming to feeder. Must be 10 lbs of corn under feeder and it is on the lowest setting!

As soon as I punch out I'm headed to the woods.Been seeing a nice 8pt on the cams and now he's hitting the scrape every 12 hours. Outta be about 6pm.

The wind died down a bit here but it looks like it will get dark early tonight since it's cloudy. Still haven't seen a thing.
