Im doing shoulder mounts this year for $250. Im a part time taxi and my shop is located in Corsicana, about an hour south of Dallas.
I use dry preservative, a more traditional technique for mounting, most professionals use a tanning method. Dry preserved mounts will last about 20 years before you have to get them recaped, tanned mounts will last for a lifetime.
Im not trying to take business away from the big guys, but not everyone can afford to get a deer mounted for $400 or $500.
Currently i have a 3-4 month turnaround on shoulder mounts. Just pm or email me and i will send you pics of my work.
