Are these places with the low prices telling you what the alfatoxin levels are or where the corn came from? Just curious.

I always buy corn from academy it is supposed to be tested and its 4.99$ a bag right now.

Just a little FYI. Aflatoxin is only a problem is drought years...shouldn't have that problem with this year's crop. I was in a elevator along the Kansas line last year with a line of semi's from Texas. The manager said he sent all his aflatoxin corn to Texas where they bagged it up for deer feed! That's what he said. Checking for aflatoxin is pretty simple. I think you just grind it and run a black light over it. If anything glows pink, there's some aflatoxin in it. If you've got big, shiny yellow kernels...probably no problem. Shriveled up, pale, broken kernels...that's where you're gonna have problems.

3$ but dont think its that cheap anymore. Tractor Supply sells the cheapest stuff and you know its cheap because it cloggs your thrower really bad. Makes me so mad
