I know I might be urinating in the wind by asking this but...
I'll be hunting Caddo WMA this season and was looking for folks with experience out there as to the better spots.
I will ONLY be hunting this WMA during the week, maybe once a month, and taking mostly doe for meat, so I won't be pressuring anyone's spot or crowding the place on the weekends.
Any experienced advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Well according to the public hunt book, you can only hunt doe in Caddo, this weekend and thanksgiving weekend, must be Buck all other days. I don't hunt there so don't know about any good spots, but thought that may be some useful info. You should have gotten your Public hunting book with your public hunting permit.

Nov 6-21 and Dec 18-19 either sex Nov 22- Dec 3, Dec 13-17, and Dec 20-Jan 2 Buck only Muzzleloader Jan 3-16 antlerless only You may take 1 buck and 2 antlerless total from the WMA. I scouted this area yesterday. Saw several does and one buck. Plenty of rubs and scrapes tho. Most of the area is thick vegetation with very few shots over 150 yards. This morning before work around 7:45am, I swung by one of the parking lots and only saw 2 trucks. It was 27* and no wind. Can't imagine where all the hunters were. There are several areas to hunt. Some say the best are only accessible by boat, namely Goat island and Horse island. If you haven't scouted this area, you might find the units off of FM727 to be a good place to start. Good luck

Thanks ya'll. That'll keep me from going in totally blind. I've got a little boat in Plano right now that I'm about to drag out to my family's cabin on Black Bayou lake in NW Loosiana so dragging it out to Caddo wouldn't be a problem. If anyone wants to hookup for a hunt on a Wed or Thur morning I'll buy the beer after the hunt. Thanks again!
