Hi guys,

I am working on a project for a magazine about opening day of deer season and I'll be in Llano on Friday and part of the day Saturday.

I am looking for a deer camp that's rustic and cool looking in which to photograph. Or, perhaps, someone knows of a camp where old friends have convened every year for the past few decades to renew friendships and spend time together.

I am just brainstorming but I hope you get the picture - I am looking for something a little iconic and a little unusual.

Ultimately, I am hoping to find that "right" deer camp where I can spend a bit of time and photograph the people celebrating a new season.

Any ideas? If so, please feel free to send me a private message or contact me at russell@russellgraves.com

Thanks for the consideration!

-Russell

Try the Fredericksburg brewery. That's where I always go.

If I were you I would hang out at Hasse's or the Super S on Friday. You might also check out Cooper's on Friday night. All of those places are brimming with hunter's. We will be down there, but there is nothing iconic about my family. If you hang around those areas on Friday you will find what you are looking for.
