30-1hr depends on how skidish your deer are and how you get to your stand

The more you hunt the more you'll see, period.
Most of that stuff they sell, is made just to sell.
Time depends on your approach... thick stuff, longer in my opinion; using a vehicle/4x4 etc, even longer... if I am walking 400 yards or more, I like an hour before...

1. More time in the stand, better the odds of getting your deer. Can't get him from camp.
